The Bear Market 2008 is about 18" by 30" and is a page from the Wall Street Journal that was used as a cover for a workbench as some metal parts were being spray painted. The result is both interesting and metaphoric. The frame is made from scrap pine. |
| Map is 24" by 36" and is made from hanger wire, fence wire and metal strapping. The piece is based on an illustration that showed population mobility in certain regions of Japan. The frame is salvaged wood as is the backing. |

Aquarium is 36" by 17" and is made from discarded drawer sides and scrap wood. The inhabitants could be paramecium-like primitive fish or whatever you can imagine |

Trophy is a commission piece I made for the local Community Birthing Center. It will be the reward to the bakery making the 'best' cake at the fund raising gala scheduled in mid-October. The piece is about 11" by 11". The metal was cut from a wrecked pickup door and the base was countertop scrap |
