These hands were cut from a piece of copper clad circuit board. I used the same pattern for Judy's hands below.
Judy was rendered from a Al Hirschfeld drawing of Judy Garland. The piece is about 20" by 20" and is made from hanger wire, laminate flooring and some microwave oven metal.
Holmes is about 18" by 21" and is another rendering of a Al Hirschfeld drawing. The caricature's subject is Basil Rathbone who played Sherlock Holmes in movies and television. The piece was made from hanger and yardsign wire and some metal from a wrecked pickup truck door.
Mayta is made from flattened fence wire. The wood-looking backing is a repurposed table top. The piece is about 9" by 16"
Spirit of Uncertainty is made from hanger wire. The piece is about 30" by 24"
The Family Pictures are made from fence wire. The frames were made from wooden crating. The pieces together are the art piece. Each are about 12" by 13"
Last November I made Brooklyn Brownstone & sold it within a week of displaying it. This piece, Brooklyn Brownstone 2 is made from hanger wire & other assorted metal scraps. It took much more time and thought than the first BB. The sculpture is about 32" by 23"
