The Woman Behind the Grid was cut from a piece of sheet steel that once was part of a truck door. The paint was removed and the surface sanded. You can see some remaining Bondex that was part of a dent repair. The wire grid is made from clothes hangers. The piece is about 18" x 17".
The wire sculpture, titled Grid Pho Crow, was made from some more of that hanger wire. The base was cut from a section of a steel ceiling joist and the crow from a microwave over cover. The work is about 18" x 21". Originally, the grid was made for the above piece but I changed my mind.
This piece...kind of enigmatic.. I call Autumn(of My Life). The eyes I've used before in the Woman in a Red Coat although this set is considerably larger. The branch/twig is that hanger wire and the leaves were cut from some junk air duct. Autumn(o.M.L) is about 17" wide.
This funky yard art piece is about 14" tall and is made from scraps of other projects and some pieces of hanger wire.. The paint may need some touch-up.
