Repurposed(not reTired) is 21" by 26" and was crafted from a piece of tire tread found along S. Providence Rd. The frame and backing are scrap wood... maybe a little of minimalist art here, folks!! |
| So It Is measures about 17" by 21". The red wire was once part of a real estate sign. The patchwork I sewed on my $5 Singer that I got at the Salvation Army Thrift store. The upholstery swatches were bought at another thrift store for $1 for a whole book... The frame I made from some scrap pine. |  |

Once Upon a Saw is 24" by 15" & is made from scrap wood paneling. The piece was rendered using a pattern seen on a saw blade. |

Amerender is 5" by 10" by 5" and is made from a post I found at the dump and pieces of hanger wire. The wire is secured using antique nails. The base came from a wood desk top. |

Terender was rebuilt from a previous sculpture. The wire came from a dumpster behind a demolished Wally World. The piece is 6" by 20" by 5" |

| Surender is made from a slice of oak I picked up at the compost dump. The piece is 9" by 18" by 6". The metal rods had the same previous life as the wire in the above sculpture. The horizontal wires were once part of a political yard sign. |  |

Dr. Wilcox is 16" by 23" and is made from fence wire, hanger wire and scrap wood. Dr. Wilcox was a noted psychiatric surgeon. |
| A Conversation is 28" by 18" & is made from fence wire, scrap sheet metal and salvaged wood. One can imagine what the couple are discussing... or, maybe, not.... |  |

Rooms(by the hour, day or week) is 18" by 36" & is made from yard sign wire and scrap wood. Notice the "Obey" sticker... it is a Shepard Fairey street art trademark... the other graffiti was applied with an air brush. |
